Here, at the first level - referred to as "The Horde" or in colors the "Beige Level" - are laid out the absolute basic needs of every human being. Food, water, warmth, sex, and safety have priority, and these needs must be met before the focus on other issues is even possible. When hordes or gangs form on this plane of existence, the struggle for survival is at the center of the association. Group ties are very loose here.

Character: highly developed senses & instincts, lives in the present, amoral, no conscious decisions
Occurrence: In early human societies, newborns, senile elderly, late stage Alzheimer's patients, confused homeless, starving masses, and blast shock victims. Not a common form of business and leadership.
Dominant topics: How am I protected here, what is the building and the rooms like? How are the facilities, how is the room temperature, how is the catering regulated?
1. One is forced into this by the circumstances of life
This is exactly the case for a large part of the world's population. Wherever there are wars, the danger of a collective regression to beige is indicated. But even after that, the traumas suffered (shock, abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder) ensure that people are almost unable to develop out of this status. People addicted to drugs and alcohol are also at this stage.
However, regression can also be triggered by a degenerative disease, such as Alzheimer's. Patients gradually degenerate until they can barely recognize their surroundings.

In all three cases, the entire existence is reduced to the sensory experience. The here and now is important. In dealing with people at this level, security is of central importance.
In the corporate environment, one probably encounters beige less. Nevertheless, knowledge of basic needs is very important. Anyone who has experienced an office renovation or relocation knows the questions that are asked by the staff regarding the new facilities. The dominant issues are again: where are the toilets, where can I get food, what is the room temperature, where is my workplace? Everything is focused on the basic needs, because, and I repeat myself, these must be covered before the focus on other issues becomes possible at all.
