Ema Soljic

I grew up in Switzerland together in the same village as Bettina. After I finished my business studies in Switzerland I moved to England for an internship at an English language school on the South Coast of England. I fell in love with England, its nature and my job so much that I decided to stay for another 10 years.

My background is in Educational Leadership, Teaching and Marketing.

I was very quickly promoted to School Manager where I implemented regular Yoga and Mindfulness classes to lift our team spirit. This was the moment I realised that Yoga was not just a hobby but a lifestyle for me that brings people together.

Social media become very popular at this time for marketing purposes so I decided  to take on the lead at my school and get another degree in Leadership & Marketing focused on Social Media Marketing.

It worked out so well that I took the lead of all our 5 UK schools and was able to train all our partner schools worldwide.

After I had the feeling I achieved what I wanted at my workplace and felt the urge for change.  My passion for sharing my yoga practice got even stronger, so I sold all my belongings and started travelling the world with only one rucksack, a yoga mat and a out of tune ukulele.

Currently I'm running a Boutique Yoga Retreat Centre on a small island in Cambodia.

When I'm is not preparing vegan meals, putting yoga sequences together, adopting Street dogs and trying to tune my ukulele, I work for ALLY VISION as Social Media Manager.
